This Sunday afternoon course (12 noon to 4 pm) looks at Method Acting which refers to a range of training and rehearsal techniques that seek to encourage sincere and emotionally expressive performances, as formulated by a number of different theatre practitioners  based on the system evolved by Stanislavsky, principally found in the United States, where it is among the most popular—and controversial—approaches to acting

Did you know there are two successful and dramatic soap operas here in Grand Cayman? Well, there aren’t. But for one night we will bring them to life!

To raise money for scholarships at our summer acting camps, we are hosting an interactive murder mystery night. Join us at the Annual Cayman Soap Opera Award (aka the Soapies!). You can choose whether or not you risk a speaking role (limited tickets available). You may end up murdered, you may be killer or you may even win an award. You will be sent a character description a couple of weeks before the event so that you have time to choose a fitting and glamorous outfit.

Get there early for our  red-carpet paparazzi to snap your picture like a star and celebrate in style at our Curtain Call Bar!

Doors open at 7, auditorium opens at 7.30 and the awards start at 8pm.

Tickets cost $35 and includes finger food (sponsored by Food For Thought) and a welcome drink. All proceeds will go to our educational funds for the scholarship.

Due to the nature of this event this is an over 18s only fundraiser.

FOOTLOOSE takes us make to the 80's with ever-green classics including Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let’s Hear It For The Boy, and of course the title track, Footloose.

Life in small-town Bomont is peaceful until City boy, Ren, arrives. Breaking every taboo, Ren brings dance back to the heart of a town held back by the memory of a tragedy.

Seen the 80s movie which launched the careers of Kevin Bacon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Lithgow? Now see a new take on this stage musical phenomenon. From Broadway to the West End and now in Grand Cayman, there is just no stopping the music. Dancing is not a crime; to miss Footloose would be!

*This performance is rated PG-13. The only exception to this being our Sunday matinees (11/18th June) where we will remove bad language to offer PG performances.*

This Sunday afternoon course (12 noon to 4 pm) looks at one of the most important facets of acting - the use of voice to enhance a role. You do not have to be a mimic, capable of imitating accents from around the world - your director chose you for a part and a role partially because of your accent and fitness for the part, This course will help you make the most of the role through proper use of vocal techniques.

Sisters is a play by Maxine Bailey and Sharon M Lewis. It tells the story of a mother facing her death by cancer, her daughter for whom she must find a safe refuge on her death, and the small circle comprising lover and friends who she hopes will be that familial refuge. It tells the story of the making of a pot of soup for lunch on a Sunday afternoon - an orchestrated pretext for uniting her daughter with her new family. It tells the story that love trumps separation and that no matter how one might try to move the focus of love the nascent origins will always remain.
